The comparison of the two experiences that the author of this paper has shows that the role of leadership is most crucial within a team and the accomplishment of the group's goals to a huge extent depends on how best the leader of the team perform his or her goals (Michael, 2007). As it is clear from the first personal experience that the team leader failed to established proper communication channel and the shared vision that is needed for the effective performance of the goals within a group, however the current group leader has been very successful in creating a shared vision and then using sound leadership to positively influence the behavior of the group (Abel, 2006). However, still the writer of this paper believe that the number of group members are little more that is essentially resulting in some mess. The writer of this paper believe that instead of forming just two groups if the supervisor of the course had form four groups each consisting of five members, better results could have been accomplished instead of current. This is because almost all the team members belong to different culture and it becomes increasingly difficult for any person to understand nine different cultures. However, if there are four groups consisting of five members then it could have been quite convenient to understand the target cultures (Adler, 2002).
