<标题> While designing a pricing strategy, marketing management are supposed to take into consideration variety of factors that include the offerings of the organization, for example in the London Olympics, the game in the mentioned case for which tickets are to be sold, the perception of the target market regarding the event, the match that has been played and the players or team that are participating in the sporting event, the competing event and the pricing strategy that are used for such game, for example the different games that will be played on the same day, same time in the Olympics, the pricing objectives that the organizer has been considering, in the mentioned case it could be either revenue maximization, or attendance maximization or some desired combination of both (M.Wilson et al., 2006).In addition, other consideration could include the marketing mix offered by the organizer, e.g., the teams or players that are participating in the event, the broadcast threshold, quality of ticketing services etc, the timing of the event whether the match has been played in the morning, noon, or evening, or day on which the event will took place, for example event taking place on off-day or working day, the seating section whether it is upper section, lower section, corner section etc, distance to sideline, distance to mid filed, the different amenities that are offered to audience in the mentioned case (Kotler & Armstrong, 2003). For example prepaid tickets for electric train will be included as part of the pricing bundle that will be used for the London Olympics. In addition, the seating capacity available for different games should be also considered and games that are enjoyed by few people should be priced at premium rate than matches that are watched by more individuals (Evans & Berman, 2007). In addition, other objectives that organizers are wishing to accomplish through the sporting should be also considered. For example, it has been stated that the event should be marked as public event and every British people have been given the equal rights to attend the sporting event, in order to make the event an "everybody" game the pricing strategy should also reflect this objective for which different discounts for different age groups like students under the age 16, or adults above 60 years of age should be given different discounts in order to drive them towards the stadium.
